Verified customerI am very happy with this sleeping bag. And after speaking with the Owner, Michael here is what I have learned.
About me. 6' tall, 180 pounds and a camper
Initial thoughts: well made, attention to details, compact for packing and car camping, a big space for your feet, a zipper to open up just at the feet, and a good temperature range.
Feet: This bag (I learned after speaking with the owner) came about after the owner needed a sleeping bag that provided comfortable room for his feet due to a medical issue. And it does just that! There is a larger space for your feet for those that sleep on their back and don't want their toes cramped. I could see it also working for someone that has their foot in a cast or a brace and they need the extra space. In addition, I know people that like to put their clothes in their sleeping bag so their clothes are nice and warm in the morning, and this foot pocket gives the perfect space for that.
Size - there are 3 sizes: Medium for kids and shorter adults. Large for up to 6' with a regular build. And XL or Wide for up to 6' with a wider build. I was perfectly happy with the large bag, but I think I am at the maximum height range.
Zippers - Here is why I spoke with the owner. There are 2 zippers - one at the very bottom for those that like to stick their feet out of the bag without unzipping the entire bag. And then the normal side zipper. The foot zipper worked perfectly, but my side zipper was really hard to move. And so I contacted the company (based in Texas) to figure it out. These are good quality zippers YKK zippers, but the one on the side was too tight and didn't slide easily. So he told me how to use a little screw driver to widen the opening for the zipper. And if there is a problem he will send me a new bag. So I am really pleased with the customer service!
Camping/Backpacking: This is a great bag for camping. It is compact and doesn't take up too much space. But I may not use it for backpacking if I was counting every ounce - it weighs just a hint too much for that. But if I am not too concerned with each ounce of weight, then this is the perfect weight to size ratio.
Material: the material feels substantial without being rough. I wouldn't mind if the interior was a little softer, but it is perfectly fine. I can't speak to the waterproof-ness as I have not camped with it yet. But thankfully the material is not "noisy" like some bags.
Cold rating: I have not been camping with it or in the cold with it yet - so I cannot speak to the warmth. But it seems to be perfectly warm and I will update after use in the cold.
Details: they put material next to the zipper so the cold zipper is not against your skin, the stuffing is sewed in so it won't move around, the stitching looks good and generally this feels like a really well made bag. I did mention to the Owner (since I was talking with him) that he may want to put a bit of material between the two zippers in the bottom corner of the bag - but other than that, I can't see any other changes I would make to this bag at this price-point. This is a great bag.
In sum: I recommend this bag! It is a well made bag, it is more comfortable for your feet, the owner provides great customer service, and I am supporting a small business! In sum, I love everything about it!

Verified customerI wondered if it was just a gimmick when the description talked about a sleeping bag with the extra room for your feet. However, since I always feel trapped in a sleeping bag when I can’t move my feet, I thought what the heck . . . and WOW! Just being able to move my feet makes a ton a difference for me!
In terms of the bag itself, it’s a very warm, fairly thick, and not exactly super lightweight. I used it last night in 40° weather and was a bit warm. However, it is packed with features like a zipper at the bottom so you can let some air in for your toes, and it also has a mummy hood with a really nice drawstring. I got the large size which fit me well and I’m a wider person.
Except for backpacking trips where I’m trying to keep the way down, this is certainly now going to be my go-to bag!

Verified customerI'm on the wider side of human shapes (though not really huge) and while I appreciate my feet not being squished in this sleeping bag, the bag only barely fits around my stomach. So I think it would be better for a taller, thinner person, who has big feet, or wants to store their shoes inside the bag (to keep them warm for wearing the next day).
There is a separate zipper on the bottom, which makes it great for putting shoes inside. And the insulation is pretty decent. I would NOT actually use this for freezing temperatures (as indicated as the "extreme" temp situation for this), but it's definitely thicker than a lot of inexpensive-to-mid-range sleeping bags I've used. And it has the nice "hood" on the top for your head to rest on and/or pull around your head.
Note that the photos show the zipper pulls on both the inside and outside of the bag, but only the top zipper pull has that, not the ones at the bottom (the side zipper that zips open from the bottom, and the bottom zipper that opens up just the foot area). Not a big deal for most of us I guess, since it would be challenging to get your hands all the way down to the bottom of the bag on the inside anyway.

Verified customerPurchased this for upcoming camping trip. The sleeping bags we have now are just too small. I saw this one with the extra feet room and knew I had to get it. It does have lots of room for your feet and feels more roomy than my other sleeping bags.
I am 6’ and ordered the large and it’s definitely big, I think someone up to 6’4 would easily be able to use the large size.
My concern is the thickness and insulate. It states it’s good to 0 Celsius which is 32 degrees. I laid in it for a while in weather that was around 45 and did get a little chilly so I don’t think you would be too comfortable any colder than that in my opinion.
Overall good quality sleeping bag with plenty of room and the seams and zippers appear to be good quality. In my opinion it’s a little expensive for this but overall a great sleeping bag

Verified customerIt has a large area at the bottom for your feet so they can stay upright instead of being squished. The bottom also has a separate zipper for your feet to air out without opening the entire bag. It comes with a carrying bag. The 4 star rating is for the cost. The cost is more than the value of this bag.
